Yesterday for dinner we had CRABs again.Thankfully the last three of them.And i kept asking my mother what was the orangy gooey stuff inside the crabs,and she kept deflecting the question. But of course I managed to break her down and she told me it was crab sperm.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

i will never never never never never eat crabs again.NEVER.

1)Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince by JK Rowling (i didn't have a favourite among the HP books until HBP came out)

2)Sleeping Murder by Agatha Christie (unlike some of her books,you don't have to read everything in order to guess who killed Helen.You just need to read carefully. cover her face, mine eyes dazzle, she died young... )

3)The Last Unicorn by Peter S Beagle (well i like sad books.and it's sad.)

4)Companions of the Night by Vivian Vende Valde (It can get creepy at times.I just wish she ended the story properly and not leave us guessing.)

5)Heir Apparent by Vivian Vende Valde (Six million ways to die...Win the game or play over and over and over and over again)

6)Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte (I didn't like the second part of it though.The first part was good.Cathy likes to say crazy things. I am Heathcliff.He's always,always on my mind. )

7)The Lion,the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S Lewis (though of course I've only read three of the Narnia series.The Horse and His boy was almost as nice too and The Last Battle was confusing.)

8)Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie (Okay I only read this last night and finished it 2am this morning.But still.I like the parts with Miranda and/or Michael.)

9)Howl's Moving Castle by Diane Wyne Jones (the movie was as good as the book.read it!)

10)The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Tracy Chavalier (ditto as Howl's Moving Castle.Scarlett Johanssen really looks like the girl who got painted.Except for the nose.)

Now,i'm not sure whether using HUGE-sized font will make my posts easier on the eyes,but i can try.and i'll take care to have more paragraphs.ahahs.

yesterday i went with my sista to Orchard Road(yeah I'm getting sick of it already) to do last-minute shopping for her prom which takes place this Friday.We wandered along Wisma Atria and Ngee Ann City for milleniums.

She needed shoes,a handbag and jewellery.I needed to pass the time without sitting in front of a computer screen all day.

In the end,she only bought shoes(from Daniel Yam) and concealer(from Red Earth).The shoes are quite nice.White,the lace-up kind.I thought the dark blue pair were better,but she says blue shoes doesn't suit long bony feet like hers.

Daniel Yam's store was full of other girls shopping for their JC prom,'cos the prom gowns there were NICE.my sister had bought her dress down at Parkway,where we go on an almost weekly basis.It is light purple.

Light purple looks sucky on me.I look washed out in light shades.Especially pastel blue.eew.And yellow,and orange.Erlack!

Anyway we spent some time in Kinokuniya at Ngee Ann City.She didn't buy anything but I bought two books.Teen Idol,by Meg Cabot and Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie(I had a hard time deciding which book of hers to buy.Some of her plots alike.She has an unhealthy fixation of having her villians kill out of too much love).

My sister started on me for almost always buying chick-lit books.Ah shut up already.I like chick-lit,and I do read non chick lit books.

It's OK,my nose is really big!

Well,it is.I blame my father of course.Though I look nothing like him.Or my mother.

Someone really needs to tell my grandma off.My mom was the one who invited her over to stay for i don't know how long(probably a week...argh!).And once she comes over,where does she sleep? My parents stick her in my room,which already is shared with my sister.It's not fair.My grandmother makes the most awfullest noises.Loudly too.I got woken up like six am(and i only got to sleep like at 2am) by the sounds of her RUBBING HER FEET.she kept doing it like she was suffering from OCD or something.Then the rubbing changed to SCRATCHING.

and her skin is the dry flaky kind.Therefore when she scratches it,it is very loud.it went on for ages.i was mad of course,since it takes me a very long time to fall asleep and i was sure i wouldn't be able to go back to sleep anymore.and i only had 4 hours' sleep.But what could i do?my mother is big on the 'obey/respect your elders!' thing.even if your elders don't flush the toilet after they use it.

i do not like Gimli.Why is he so gungho?I hate gungho-ers.Arwen is virtually useless in ROTK.But she adds prettiness to the movie,I suppose.My granny is watching ROTK too,even though the DVD has only Spanish and English subtitles.And she speaks only Teochew(i think.it might be cantonese...or sth else.).So maybe she's watching ROTK only because of Legolas,who you must admit,is played by one of the grooviest-looking guys on earth.

Oh.Now we're at Shelob's cave.I don't really like all the Sam/Frodo/Gollum parts.I always skip them whenever i watch ROTK or TTT(two towers,idiot).However,in order to be considerate to my granny who is watching ROTK for the first time ever,we can't skip any parts.Sam,hurry up and kill Shelob already and let the orcs take Frodo away.Oh,i wish Frodo would stop grunting and moaning.I can't help but remember Elijah's creepy role in Sin City.

This is shitty.My uncle,aunt and their two younger children are here.Sucky.They don't even like me.They only like my slobbery,suck-upper dog anyway.Right now they are cooing all over him,slobbering over him almost the way he is doing over them.My uncle just started singing, like a moose.My parents are out.But i think it's best this way.OH MY GOD WHY WON'T THEY LEAVE!!!!!????? My cousins are 11 and 7 years old.They are invading my privacy.damn damn damn.darn.please leave leave leave sooooooooooon.

The older one just tried to snitch my zen micro.and he stood beside me for ages.he wouldn't go away.

so i asked,"What d'you want?" He went all meekly and scared-kiddedly,'Nothing'.Probably acting.I hear he's like the live version of Dash from The Incredibles.He has The Chinese High look.But he wouldn't budge.

i shall pretend they aren't here.

Finally they are gone!Now I can type in peace.In relative peace,i mean.For of course my grandma is eating something noisily and my sister is watching The Return of the King for the sixth time(much less times than the Fellowship of the Ring - that we watched 16 times).

So as i said,my father returned home yesterday.We waited ages at Changi Airport.Terminal One,since now his company won't pay for their employees to take Singapore Airlines!How fair is that?SPH can be stingy.My father is 61 years old and I have no idea how he can join SPH at age 60 and be a advertising director.somefink lidat.

My sis and I really had nothing to do.We bought chocolate eclairs from the Delifrance nearby and ate while we waited.There was a whole crowd of what must be French people waiting nearby.I think they must be French,because they were speaking French.

In about 10 minutes after finishing off the last eclair,a whole bunch of french kids appeared.Evidently from a school exchange programme trip.Then a whole crowd of Shanghainese.Finally!My vati appeared,carrying a whole lot of baggage and two boxes of,get this,hairy crabs!

For dinner that night,most of what we had was crabs.i will never eat crabs again.but then again,my mother will make me.because we still have 10 crabs in the fridge.and they're alive.animal cruelty!well it is,because you don't stick people into a 15degree zone without coats and expect them to come out all smiling.okay i'm babbling.

anyway.my sister has just finished her a-levels and she keeps talking about going on holiday during her next six months (free from teachers and schooooool - i wanna be 18,flirty and thriving).lucky her.she wants to go Melbourne,australia.well, so do i.but not for holiday.i'd rather live there.

i have finished all three FF X discs within three hours,by skipping lots of parts.i watched Tidus die.I suppose it might have been very sad if I wasn't so impatient to start X-2.X-2 was very crazy.I had watch Lenne/Yuna and Shuin/Tidus get shot embracing each other repeatedly.Lenne has very nice hair.

i just remembered: my vati will be coming home tomorrow!i suppose there's a holiday in China which is why he can fly back to singapore.At least it's better than making my family and me fly over to shanghai.all i can do there is to flop around the apartment and watch dvds which sell for the equivelant of S$4 there.

I just watched a little of Final Fantasy X.And it was kinda weird,'cos they cut out all the battle parts and roleplaying parts.And of course,since FF originates in Japan,what language do the characters speak?Japanese!And the subtitles are in Chinese.And let me tell you,i suck at chinese.So basically I watched a little and I stopped,'cos I didn't have a clue what they were saying.

But it was pretty entertaining on the whole.'cos Tidus,Yuna and co were mostly expressionless,even though the people voicing them were putting a lot of emotion in their voices.So the characters looked like products of plastic surgery.

Anyway Tidus is really pretty.He resembles Meg Ryan. Ha!Ha!Ha!I think I will fast forward to the part where he dies.

okay basically i am tired sweating and achiful (ache+ful.i like cannot meh).i had to walk from one end of my condo estate to the other FOUR times today.and ask anybody who has been to my condo,they'll tell you its shittily big.which is why you can see a lot of topless caucasian guys jogging around after six,trying to burn those carbs.

anyway i had to go shopping with charissa today at orchard road.she has to buy formal wear for her cousin's wedding...and after centuries in Isetan and esprit edc she bought one brown skirt for a cool 80 (okay i rounded it up) bucks.i had no money,therefore couldn't buy.but here's one thing i know: Esprit overprices.

tomorrow i shall not venture out of my cosy hole in the ground.i shall become a couch potato(watching the 15 hour Final Fantasy X and X-2 - yay i dont needa play) and grow fat on blue M&Ms.whatever.
